PA Al-Anon Assembly 2022

The 65th Annual Pennsylvania Al-Anon Assembly will be held August 19-21, 2022, at the Hilton Harrisburg in downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This is the largest Al-Anon/Alateen group conscience in Pennsylvania, and an opportunity for every group to have their voice heard and vote counted. The Area Assembly is the business meeting where the groups send their representatives to express a voice and vote on behalf of the group.

We are planning a busy interactive business meeting which will include workshops, displays, and Al-Anon program meetings. The Assembly is scheduled to begin Friday at 7:00 pm and ends Sunday at noon after all business is completed.

You must be registered by Friday, August 5, to have a seat in the meeting room. Registrations are transferable but not refundable after Friday, August 12. We encourage you to select a meal plan option, so you can enjoy the fellowship and help keep the business meeting on schedule. Also, meal plan purchases help us cover the cost of the meeting rooms. Please note, to facilitate Assembly planning, there are no walk-ins. You must be signed in at the registration table by 8:30 am on Saturday to have a vote during the Assembly.

In addition to the business meeting, Sarah S., Director of Programs, World Service Office, will be a speaker on Saturday evening, and there will be a spiritual speaker on Sunday morning. You will have an opportunity to attend two workshops on Friday evening at 7:00 pm and 8:15 pm. There will also be a special presentation by Sarah S and Lori F on Saturday afternoon. Also, we will have regular Al-Anon meetings on Friday at 9:30 pm, Saturday at 9:00 pm, and on Sunday morning at 7:00 am. There will also be an open Alateen meeting on Saturday at 9:00 pm.

Important Information:

•  If you are rooming alone, please request a king-sized bed when making your hotel reservation. This will allow others that are sharing a room to have with 2 beds.

•  If you need a roll-away bed in your room, please request it when making your reservation. There are a limited number available.
