History of Al-Anon in Pennsylvania
First PA Assembly Minutes 1961
The first Pennsylvania Area Assembly was held on February 12, 1961 in Philadelphia. There were 17 group representatives there with a total attendance of 44 people. They elected our first Area Delegate, Kaz K. And Area officers. There was a collection taken because there was not enough money to send the Delegate to the first World Service Conference to be held in New York City in April of 1961. A collection was taken and $18.20 was contributed.
