Writing Guidelines
The World Service Office is always looking for sharings of heartfelt experiences, feelings, and insights from Al-Anon and Alateen members. These publications include its monthly magazine, The Forum, for all Al-Anon and Alateen members; its quarterly publication, Alateen Talk, for younger members; and its annual public outreach magazine, Al-Anon Faces Alcoholism.
Also, in 2014, the World Service Conference of Al-Anon Family Groups gave conceptual approval for “a new daily reader that reflects the diversity of the Al-Anon fellowship” and its members as they are today. They continue to need sharings with specific requirements.
If you are a member of Al-Anon or Alateen, please consider sharing your experience by writing for one of these publications. Everything you need to know, from writing guidelines to sending a share online, can be found on the Al-Anon website’s Online Sharing page.
Writing is one of the many ways you can participate in Al-Anon’s third legacy: Service. Give hope to others by sharing your experience.
