Delegate’s Report to the February 2024 AWSC
Welcome!
Greetings friends! I’m excited to share my first Delegate’s Report to Panel 64 with you. As I write this, we are only two weeks away from meeting in Carlisle. This location holds a special place in my heart – it was November 17, 2017, when I experienced my first AWSC meeting there. Dozens of questions rolled through my mind. Everything was new. I was nervous, not sure what to expect. Why had I raised my hand? Would I be able to do this? What was I even doing here? And on and on it went.
Now, with more service experience and learning from those who went before me, the questions have long been answered and replaced by an ever-growing joy of service. For those of you for whom this is your first AWSC, know that you are not alone. Connect with others, share experiences, and learn from each other. If there is anything I can do to make your first AWSC better, please reach out to me.
For those of you with previous AWSC experience, welcome back. We welcome your experience. Thank you for continuing your service journey. Please help those who are new, reach out, and share your experiences, your encouragement, and your joy of service.
I’m looking forward to continuing this service journey with you as we start to walk this path – now a shared path, our path – together toward grace, unity, and understanding.
Delegate, Panel 64
