PA AWSC 2020 May Meeting – Virtual

Coronavirus Response:  Our May AWSC is going VIRTUAL!  The Area has deemed it necessary to hold our May AWSC meeting virtually using Google Hangouts.  Please register via this page if you plan on joining in the meeting on May 16th.   Thank you for your prayers, understanding, and hard work as we all try to continue the business of PA Al-Anon during this unprecedented time.  Together we will get through, one day at a time!

Spring is in the air so it is time to start planning for the AWSC May meeting!  “Connecting for Recovery”

This virtual meeting is scheduled for May 16, 2020.  It we be conducted on the Google Hangout platform which is part of G-Suites.  Please register below by Friday, May 1st.  If you already registered for the previous scheduled May AWSC in Altoona, we ask that you register again signifying you will be attending on the virtual platform.  Closer to the meeting date, all who register will be sent an invite to their pa-al-anon.org email that will include the Hangout link for the meeting.

Guests may attend the meeting by choosing that option below.

To help us all prepare for a successful meeting, please plan to attend 1 of these practice sessions:

• Sun, May 3rd at 1 – 2:30 PM
• Wed, May 6th at 7 – 8:30 PM      

All registered will be sent a Hangouts invite for these practice sessions via your pa-al-anon.org email.                                                                                              

*** Prior to the Saturday business meeting, there will be an virtual Al-Anon meeting on Friday, May 15th at 8pm via Google Hangouts for all who wish to attend.

NOTE: Since we will not be meeting face-to-face at the Hampton Inn Altoona, any rooms that already had been booked will be cancelled automatically by the hotel so there is no need to call the Hampton to cancel a prior booked room.  Verification of cancellation will be sent via email.
